This winter transfer window proves to be a period of feverish rumour and possible big-money moves. Several notable footballers find themselves linked with moves out of their present clubs. Here is a look at a selection of the major figures who might be changing clubs this month.

A. Semenyo

Although the Black Stars' inability to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations, this has left the forward available, reports suggest a significant move is imminent. The Bournemouth attacker possesses a deal with a sizeable buy-out clause applicable for a two-week period in early January. Recent developments point to Manchester City have emerged as his services. Other suitors like Tottenham and Chelsea reportedly have moved on to other targets, leaving teams such as Liverpool or Manchester United to make a last-minute move.

M. Guéhi

The England centre-back has continued to excel for Crystal Palace this season a previous move to Liverpool falling through. As his contract set to run out in the summer, this represents the London club's last opportunity to obtain a transfer fee for their captain. A host of elite sides, such as Manchester City and several European giants like Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich, reportedly be interested. However, a winter exit is considered difficult, especially given the coach's reliance on the player.

B. Johnson

This Wales forward has had starting minutes hard to come by at Spurs this campaign. Although finishing as the club's leading goalscorer the previous campaign, he has started only a small number of Premier League games. After starring at the Under-19 European Championship, he has become a regular in the AZ Alkmaar first team. The 19-year-old is heavily tipped to complete a big-money transfer this month. Newcastle United reportedly are leading the chase, but could face strong competition from the Spanish champions for a deal priced at approximately twenty-two million pounds.
